Hotel Manager

In the Hotel Manager simulation, participants take on the role of managing a hotel and experience the key operational activities and challenges of the hospitality industry first-hand.

The seminar presents the specific processes and interconnections of hotel operations in a clear and engaging way. Participants discover the main sources of revenue, such as room bookings, events and gastronomy, while learning how key performance indicators like occupancy rate and profitability interact.

HOTEL MANAGER in use at DHBW Ravensburg

The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Ravensburg (DHBW Ravensburg)  was one of the first universities in Germany to successfully integrate the HOTEL MANAGER business simulation into its study programme.

Since then, the simulation has been used regularly at the beginning of the second semester – with consistently very positive feedback from students.

We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Heike Schwadorf and DHBW Ravensburg for allowing us to share the video here and, of course, for their positive feedback.
